Jesus Heals

Healing Scriptures ( taken from Joseph Prince's website}

Dear friend,

As you are trusting the Lord for healing today, it is so important for you to know that God wants you healed and well. My Bible tells me clearly that God is a God of love and that He is a good God (1 Chronicles 16:34; 1 John 4:16).

This means that if you are sick, God’s heart is and will always be to heal and restore health and life to you. He so desires for you to walk in health and life that He gave you His beloved Son, Jesus, so that you might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). God is for you to walk in abundant health and life. He does not want your body and life sapped, incapacitated or debilitated by pain, sickness and disease, and He will never withhold healing from you.

How important is your healing and health to the Lord? So important that He Himself paid the heaviest and most terrible price for your wholeness! At the cross, Jesus was judged, burnt, smitten and crushed. He paid the full price for your healing, health and wholeness so you could experience His abundant life. Today, there is no symptom in your body that is too insignificant for Him to care about, and no condition that is greater than what His finished work has accomplished.

Beloved, if you’re facing challenges in your body today, I encourage you to meditate on the love and finished work of our Lord Jesus through the healing scriptures below. These Bible verses pertain specifically to your healing. In them, you will see the Lord’s heart to heal you and your loved ones, and how your healing has already been paid for at the cross. When you see also how willingly and compassionately Jesus simply healed all who came to Him, as long as they had a physical need, faith will rise in your heart to know that He wants to, and can do the same for you.

You may find some of the verses familiar, but I pray this will not stop you from soaking yourself in these healing scriptures, chewing on them and trusting the powerful and living Word of God to bring healing and life to your body. The Bible tells us that God’s Word is “life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:22). So as you immerse yourself in God’s healing promises and speak them over your body, expect to receive an abundance of His divine healing and resurrection life!

Apart from these healing scriptures, you will also find a prayer at the end of the verses that you can pray or speak over yourself or your loved ones. I pray that through these avenues, you will keep receiving the healing and wholeness you are trusting Jesus for, and keep walking in an increasingly greater measure of His health and life!

God Wants You Healed And Whole

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
— Isaiah 53:4–5 (AMP)

But He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
— Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)

… who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
— 1 Peter 2:24

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
— Romans 8:11

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
— Romans 8:32

Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Him and knelt before Him. “Lord,” the man said, “if You are willing, You can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.

— Matthew 8:2–3 (NLT)

“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent out His word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.
— Psalm 107:19–20 (NLT)

For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.
— Psalm 91:3 (NLT)

He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.
— Psalm 105:37

Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
— 3 John 1:2 (NASB)

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have [it] more abundantly.”
— John 10:10

Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.

— Psalm 91:5–7 (NLT)

With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.
— Psalm 91:16

“…I am the Lord who heals you.”
— Exodus 15:26

“I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord.
— Jeremiah 30:17 (NLT)

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.
— Psalm 103:2–3

My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they [are] life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.
— Proverbs 4:20-22

Everyone Who Came To Jesus Was Healed

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
— Matthew 4:23

News about Him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to Him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon-possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—He healed them all.
— Matthew 4:24 (NLT)

When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering.” Jesus said to him, “I will go and heal him.”
— Matthew 8: 5–7 (NIV)

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore [our] sicknesses.”
— Matthew 8:16–17

…Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!” And the man jumped up and went home!
— Matthew 9:6–7 (NLT)

Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them [the] lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.
— Matthew 15:30

Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed Him.
— Matthew 20:34 (NIV)

And He entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand. So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him. And He said to the man who had the withered hand, “Step forward.” Then He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they kept silent. And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched [it] out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.
— Mark 3:1–5

A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind Him through the crowd and touched His robe. For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch His robe, I will be healed.” Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition.
— Mark 5:25–29 (NLT)

Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. “What do you want Me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
— Mark 10:49–52 (NIV)

When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.
— Luke 4:40

And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed [them] all.
— Luke 6:19

A funeral procession was coming out as He approached the village gate. The young man who had died was a widow’s only son, and a large crowd from the village was with her. When the Lord saw her, His heart overflowed with compassion. “Don’t cry!” He said. Then He walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. “Young man,” He said, “I tell you, get up.” Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk! And Jesus gave him back to his mother.
— Luke 7:12–15 (NLT)

And a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, He called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then He put His hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
— Luke 13:11–13 (NIV)

One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, He asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.” Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking!
— John 5:5–9 (NLT)

“…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
— Acts 10:38

Prayer For Healing And Wholeness
“Lord Jesus, I thank You that You love me and that You are both able and willing to heal me. At the cross, You took all my sicknesses and pains in Your own body, and by Your stripes, I am healed! Your body was scourged and broken so that mine can be made whole. I receive all that You have done for me and I rest in Your finished work. There is nothing more for me to do. As I wait on You for the complete manifestation of my healing, I choose to focus on and give praise for Your great love for me. Amen!”

Little Foxes that Spoil the Vines:
Song of Solomon 2:15
Intro: In this section of scripture it is talking about the vineyards, and the need for watching out for the foxes. Not just the foxes but the little foxes that spoil the vine. For the vines have tender grapes on them. This is speaking of the fruit we have in our Christian lives. And how the little foxes can destroy the vine that yield fruit. They do this by gnawing and breaking the little branches and leaves, and the bark, by digging holes in the vineyards, and so spoiling the roots, by eating the grapes, and any other way to hinder the growth of the vine.
Let us look at some Little Foxes that spoil the vine.
1. Bitterness of Soul; Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
A. bitterness starts out small like a root then becomes a tree
B. bitterness is like a small sore, if picked at enough will become a large wound
2. Bickering of the Saints; 1Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
A. bickering turns to arguing
B. arguing turns to separation
3. Boasting of Self; Proverbs 25:14 Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.
A. boasting is like clouds and wind without rain there is no substance
B. boasting is a little fox that breeds pride
4. Bridling not the Speech; James 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
A. this little fox has destroyed a lot of vines
B. don’t say what you think but think about what you are gong to say
5. Binding the Spirit; 1 Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.
A. each time you bind the spirit you yield yourself to sin
B. if you bind the spirit you will num to the things of God
6. Bargaining with Satan; Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.
A. the little bit of giving ground to the Devil
B. sometimes we bargain with Satan and don’t even realize we have
7. Barring the Savior; Revelation 3:20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
A. when we bind the spirit, and bargain with Satan, we are barring the Savior.
B. there are some places in our lives where we will not open up to Jesus and that little fox will keep us from growing and yielding fruit
Conclusion: It’s not always the big things in our lives that hinder us, but these little things (foxes) add up to make big problems in our walk with Christ. Are there some little foxes you need to take care of in your life?

THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY GHOST

THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY GHOST:......

Joh 3:1  THERE was there a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews;
Joh 3:2  He came at night to Jesus and said to him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher sent from God; for no man can do these miracles that you are doing, except God is with him.
Joh 3:3  Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, If a man is not born again,* he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:4  Nicodemus said to him, How can an old man be born again? can he enter again a second time into his motherÆs womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5  Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, If a man is not born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6  What is born of flesh is flesh; and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7  Do not be surprised because I have told you that you all must be born again.
Joh 3:8  The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound; but you do not know whence it comes and whither it goes; such is every man who is born of the Spirit.

JESUS TELLS US OF THE BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE......A MAN MUST BE BORN AGAIN....THIS IS A SPIRITUAL BIRTH....YOU ARE BORN INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD....YOU BECOME A CHILD OF GOD...THIS IS THE NEW BIRTH THAT GIVES YOU SONSHIP.......

WHEN ONE IS BORN AGAIN HE THEN BECOMES READY OR A CANDIDATE FOR THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST....

Joh 7:38  Whoever believes in me, just as the scriptures have said, the rivers of living water shall flow from within him.
Joh 7:39  He said this concerning the Spirit, which they who believe in him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

JESUS HERE SPEAKS A POWERFUL WORD........HE SAID THAT THOSE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM --OUT FROM WITHIN THEM WILL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER......NOW NOTICE THIS RIVER FLOWS FROM WITHIN THE PERSON......THIS RIVER IN THE NEXT VERSE IS SHOWN TO BE THE HOLY SPIRIT.......

IT IS THROUGH THE NEW BIRTH THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS TAKEN UP RESIDENCE INSIDE OF THE BELIEVER.....IT IS THE SAME HOLY SPIRIT THAT FLOWS FROM WITHIN THE BELIEVER

NOTICE ALSO OTHER THINGS JESUS SAID CONCERNING THE HOLY SPIRIT..

Joh 14:16  “And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever –
Joh 14:17  the Spirit of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you

NOTICE AGAIN....JESUS TELLS US THAT THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT THE WORLD ....THOSE WHO HAVE NOT ACCEPTED JESUS AS LORD AND SAVIOR......CANNOT RECEIVE HIM......IN OTHER WORDS YOU HAVE TO BE BORN AGAIN.....NOT OF THE WORLD.....

JESUS AGAIN GIVES INSTRUCTIONS TO HIS FOLLOWERS:......

Luk 24:49  And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

NOW SEEING THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT JESUS GAVE ....CAN WE AGREE....THAT THE NEW BIRTH IS BY THE HOLY SPIRIT....AND THAT HE TAKES UP RESIDENCE IN US WHEN WE ARE BORN AGAIN.......AND BECAUSE HE IS IN US AND WE ARE PART OF THE FAMILY OF GOD.....THAT HE FLOWS OUT OF US AS RIVERS OF LIVING WATER.......

HE TELLS HIS FOLLOWERS WAIT IN THE CITY OF JERUSALEM UNTIL YOU ARE CLOTHED WITH POWER .....

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DISCIPLES WHEN THE CLOTHING FROM ON HIGH TOOK PLACE?....WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THE RIVER THAT WAS WITHIN THEM BEGAN TO FILL THEM AND FLOW OUR OF THEM?

Act 2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

WHAT HAPPENED!

THEY WERE ALL FILLED THE RIVER BEGAN TO SPRING UP IN THEM FLOWING THROUGH THEM AND THEY BEGAN TO SPEAK IN OTHER TONGUES .....

NOW THE 120 WERE FILLED AND SPOKE IN LANGUAGES THEY DID NOT KNOW...........THESE LANGUAGES WERE DIALECTS OF THE EARTH......FOR MANY THAT HEARD THEM WERE AMAZED BECAUSE THE GALILEANS SPOKE IN THEIR NATIVE LANGUAGE FROM THE VARIOUS PARTS OF THE WORLD WERE THEY LIVED.....

IF WE CONTINUE THROUGH THE BOOK OF ACTS...CHAPTERS 8, 10 AND 19.........WE SEE THE IMPORTANCE THAT THE APOSTLES PLACED ON BEING BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY GHOST....THEY PLACED TOP PRIORITY ON THE NEW CONVERTS BEING BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY GHOST.......NOW WHAT WAS THE INITIAL SIGN THAT THE APOSTLES RECOGNIZED AS PROOF THAT THEY NEW CONVERTS HAD RECEIVED?

Act 10:44  While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them which heard the word.
Act 10:45  And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 10:46  For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify Elohim. Then answered Peter,

WHAT SIGN WAS THERE IT WAS THE SPEAKING IN TONGUES ....NOTICE IN THE ABOVE PASSAGES......THE JEWS WERE AMAZED BECAUSE THE HOLY GHOST WAS POURED OUT ON THE NEW GENTILE CONVERTS......FOR THEY HEARD THEM SPEAK IN TONGUES........THIS WAS THE EVIDENCE THAT THEY PEOPLE HAD RECEIVED......

NOW THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DENOMINATION NOR ETHNICITY.....THIS IS BIBLE ORDER...........REMEMBER THE WORDS OF THE APOSTLE PAUL:

Act 19:1  And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
Act 19:2  He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Spirit since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Spirit.

HE ASKED THE DISCIPLES.....A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION...HAVE YE RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST SINCE YE BELIEVED?............

ANY BELIEVER THAT HAS RECEIVED JESUS AS LORD AND SAVIOR IS A CANDIDATE FOR THE RIVER OF LIVING WATER TO FLOW THROUGH THEM FLOODING THEIR ENTIRE BEING WITH THE WATER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT........HAVE YE RECEIVED SINCE YOU BELIEVED.

Testimony.........

Hello Minister Bass,

I couldn't get the letter to you in person so here goes.......About twenty years ago you prophesized to me and you said I would give birth to a son that would be anointed by God, not knowing that I was already pregnant about a month or two later I found out I was with child.
This boy child was truly a gift and I held on to the words you spoke that night. During the pregnancy I read scriptures, anointed my stomach, and sang to him daily. Labor day of September 1992 my water broke and I was rushed to The Med......the enemy knew what I was about to birth. Once I made it to the hospital I was checked in and placed in a room where I sat for hours without anyone coming back to check on me.....during all of the waiting my amniotic fluid was almost depleted. Finally someone notice their mistake and began to get me set up for delivery.
Long story short.... I gave birth to a male child who weighed 5ozs.4lbs. After being very exhausted I allowed him to stay over night in the newborn center, called for him the next morning and the nurse tells me oh ma'am we had to give him a blood transfusion because he was turning blue so he's in the intensive care unit for newborns........Okay no-one notified me of any of this. My son was in the hospital for twenty one days and all they could tell me was its nothing but a bacteria infection. They couldn't explain what was going own but I knew this child belonged to God. I was there at the hospital everyday prayed up and anointing him with oil. The hopital made a big mistake and tried to cover their tracks but I wasn't worried because I was holding on to the words that God had given you Minister Bass and what I believed in. Now Raymond is a thriving very intelligent young man who loves God and has the presence of the Lord all over him. Thank you so much for your prayers and continue to pray for us.

LESSONS I LEARNED

WHEN I WAS A YOUNG PREACHER.......WE WERE LED TO BELIEVE THAT NO ONE WAS RIGHT BUT US.....YOU HAD TO BE FROM US , AND WITH US.....IF IT WASN'T C.O.G.I.C. IT WASN'T NOTHING.....I DEVELOPED A PREJUDICE AGAINST BAPTIST, METHODIST, AND OTHER SEGMENTS OF THE CHURCH....WHO DID NOT FOLLOW "US"........WE WERE TAUGHT THAT CHARISMATICS, AND WORD OF FAITH PEOPLE WERE ONLY PROSPERITY MINDED FOLK WHO SOUGHT AFTER WORLDLY GAIN BY USING THE WORD OF GOD AS A PERSONAL BANKING SYSTEM.....WITH THESE HANG-UPS I BECAME VERY LIMITED TO THE TYPE OF PLACES THAT I COULD GO AND MINISTER TO....WE WERE WARNED////"STAY AWAY FROM THEM FOLK, THEY AINT RIGHT",,,,WHENEVER I WOULD ENCOUNTER BAPTIST PEOPLE I HAD THIS AIR OF SUPERIORITY THAT I AM GETTING IN AND YOU AINT...........I PREACHED AGAINST PANTS, MAKE-UP, PERMING YOUR HAIR, AND MANY OTHER THINGS BECAUSE THATS HOW I WAS RAISED AS A C.O.G.I.C. HOLINESS PREACHER.......DURING REVIVAL MEETINGS ....PEOPLE WOULD COME AND I WOULD TEAR AWAY AT FOLK.....I WOULD STOP PREACHING JESUS SAVES AND BEGAN TO PREACH "STANDARDS" NO PANTS, NO MAKE-UP, WOMEN SHOULD ALWAYS WEAR STOCKINGS WHEN YOU COME OUT SIDE....THIS WAS MY MESSAGE...AND NO ONE WAS GETTING SAVED.

IT WAS DURING THIS TIME I BEGAN TO SEEK GOD.......LORD I KNOW YOU CALLED ME, I KNOW THE VISIONS YOU HAVE SHOWN ME....NO ONE IS GETTING SAVED, HEALED OR BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY GHOST...WHATS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE.

GOD SIMPLY TOLD ME....IT IS NOT THE PEOPLE...IT IS YOU.....I PROMISE THAT SIGNS AND WONDERS WOULD FOLLOW MY WORD.....YOU ARE NOT PREACHING MY WORD....YOU ARE PREACHING TRADITIONS OF MEN......AND I WILL NEVER MANIFEST MYSELF WHEN THE TRADITIONS OF MEN ARE BEING PREACHED.

WHEN GOD BEGAN TO SPEAK THIS TO ME ...I BEGAN TO REALLY LOOK AT MYSELF AND AT MY HANG-UPS.....I BEGAN TO SEE THAT "WE" DID NOT HAVE A MONOPOLY ON THE POWER OF GOD.........OR A SPECIAL SEAL OF APPROVAL............I SAW THAT GOD LOVES HIS PEOPLE AND WANTS THEM TO DRAW NEAR TO HIM AND HE WANTS ALL OF THEM TO BE BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY GHOST, DELIVERED, AND HEALED.......WHEN I SAW THIS ....GOD BEGAN TO OPEN DOORS, AND SOULS STARTED GETTING SAVED AND MIRACLES HAPPENED.....

WE CAN HINDER GOD BY OUR PREJUDICES AND HANG-UPS.....DO YOU HAVE ANY?

TWELVE PROPHETIC PROMISES FOR 2012! From: Morris Cerullo

I received this email from Dr. Morris Cerullo, and wanted to share it with you.

TWELVE PROPHETIC
PROMISES FOR 2012!
Receive these TWELVE Prophetic Promises, and experience 100 percent victory over 100 percent of your needs.
Promise 1: Authority! God is going to take you into a new level of spiritual authority and give you dominion over the things of this world. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands: thou hast put all things under his feet: (Psalms 8:3-6).
Promise 2: A New Prayer Anointing! God is going to give you a new anointing in your prayers. Your words, spoken with authority and invested with the power of God, will enable you to confront and destroy every stronghold of the enemy. The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways(Deuteronomy 28:7).
Promise 3: 100 Percent Victory! God has promised 100 percent victory, over 100 percent of your needs, 100 percent of the time. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Promise 4: Spiritual-Warfare Power that penetrates and changes governments, nations, and political rulers! For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:12-13).
Promise 5: You Will Be Established By God! God will bring you into His prophetic purpose for your life, your family, your ministry, and your destiny. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the dominion (power, authority, rule) forever and ever. Amen (so be it) (1 Peter 5:10-11, AMP).
Promise 6: The Last, Great Anointing! God will pour His Spirit upon His Church in these last days to prepare them for Jesus' return. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: (Acts 2:17-18).
Promise 7: An Unlimited, Supernatural Power! The divine, energizing, supernatural power that God intended to flow, unhindered, through the Church in this end-time hour is being released. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not(Jeremiah 33:3).
Promise 8: The Future Belongs To The Intercessor! The future belongs to you. In these last days, you will rise and pursue your destiny with all diligence and perseverance. You must become spiritually violent! And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12).
Promise 9: Divine Favor! God's divine favor will give you unlimited access to His throne room. You may go boldly into His Presence and know that He will answer your requests. ...I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name (Exodus 33:17).
Promise 10: Protection! No satanic force will, in any way, harm you! You will be preserved and protected from every attack of the enemy! Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you (Luke 10:19, AMP).
Promise 11: Receive Answers To Every Unanswered Prayer! Every prayer that you have ever prayed in your entire life is in front of God right now. Not one of your prayers has been lost. God said, "Tell My people that I have not forgotten one." There is nothing that God starts that He does not finish.
Promise 12: The Prayer Command! God will give you the power of Jesus Christ to command the prophetic promises for healing, financial overflow, family restoration, and signs and wonders to be released!!! Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give (Matthew 10:8).

PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF BISHOP C.H. MASON

Personal Testimony of his Baptism of The Holy Ghost

The following are excerpts from Elder Mason's personal testimony regarding his receiving the Holy Ghost.
"The first day in the meeting I sat to myself, away from those that went with me. I began to thank God in my heart for all things, for when I heard some speak in tongues, I knew it was right though I did not understand it. Nevertheless, it was sweet to me.
I also thank God for Elder Seymour who came and preached a wonderful sermon. His words were sweet and powerful and it seems that I hear them now while writing. When he closed his sermon, he said 'All of those that want to be sanctified or baptized with the Holy Ghost, go to the upper room; and all those that want to be justified, come to the altar.'
I said that is the place for me, for it may be that I am not converted and if not, God knows it and can convert me..."
"Glory!"
"The second night of prayer I saw a vision. I saw myself standing alone and had a dry roll of paper in my mouth trying to swallow it. Looking up towards the heavens, there appeared a man at my side. I turned my eyes at once, then I awoke and the interpretation came.
God had me swallowing the whole book and if I did not turn my eyes to anyone but God and Him only, He would baptize me. I said yes to Him, and at once in the morning when I arose, I could hear a voice in me saying, " I see..."
"I got a place at the altar and began to thank God. After that, I said Lord if I could only baptize myself, I would do so; for I wanted the baptism so bad I did not know what to do. I said, Lord, You will have to do the work for me; so I turned it over into His hands."
"Then, I began to ask for the baptism of the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:41, which readeth thus: 'Then they that gladly received His word were baptized,' Then I saw that I had a right to be glad and not sad."
"The enemy said to me, there may be something wrong with you. Then a voice spoke to me saying, if there is anything wrong with you, Christ will find it and take it away and marry you...Someone said, 'Let us sing.' I arose and the first song that came to me was 'He brought me out of the Miry Clay.' O Glory Hallelujah! Praise His most wonderful name!
The Spirit came upon the saints and upon me...Then I gave up for the Lord to have His way within me. So there came a wave of Glory into me and all of my being was filled with the Glory of the Lord.

So when He had gotten me straight on my feet, there came a light which enveloped my entire being above the brightness of the sun. When I opened my mouth to say Glory, a flame touched my tongue which ran down me. My language changed and no word could I speak in my own tongue. Oh! I was filled with the Glory of the Lord. My soul was then satisfied.

HISTORY THAT MANY HAVE FORGOT, AND MAY NOT KNOW

WILLIAM J. SEYMOUR
The Founder of Modern Pentecostalism
Today, the spiritual heirs of the Azusa Street Revival number over half a billion, making Pentecostals and Charismatics the second largest and the fastest-growing family of Christians in the world. Whether black or white, Hispanic or Asian, almost all churches in this movement can trace their roots directly or indirectly to the humble mission at 312 Azusa Street and its pastor, William J. Seymour.
Seymour was born on May 2, 1870, in Centerville, Louisiana, to Simon and Phyllis Seymour, former slaves, who raised him as a Baptist. In his youth, William often had visions of God and studied the Scriptures diligently. At the age of twenty-five, he moved to Indianapolis, where he worked as a railroad porter and a waiter in a fashionable restaurant. His church while in Indianapolis was a black Methodist Episcopal Church.
In 1900 he moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and enrolled in a Holiness Bible School that emphasized sanctification (being made holy), divine healing, and the expectation that there would be a worldwide Holy Spirit revival before the Lord’s soon return. Seymour heard God call him to become a preacher, but he resisted until he caught smallpox, a disease that often killed its victims, and left poor William blind in his left eye. After he recovered, he felt his illness had been a punishment for not obeying God’s call. So he immediately accepted ordination as a preacher.
He then moved to Houston, Texas, to find and then live with some relatives lost during slavery. From 1903 to 1905 he accepted several short-term preaching assignments. He also met a black woman, Mrs. Lucy Farrow, who claimed to have spoken in unknown tongues while accompanying evangelist Charles F. Parham and his family to Kansas as their governess. Earlier in Topeka, a woman named Agness Ozman had spoken in unknown tongues, and Parham considered this the first evidence of a Pentecost-like renewal. He had not yet experienced it himself, but he preached that it was coming. Now that the Parhams and Mrs. Farrow had returned to Houston, Seymour wanted to learn more. Parham, however, was a determined segregationist, and he would not allow Seymour to sit in his classroom with white students. So Seymour arranged to sit in the hallway outside the open door and listen to Parham’s lectures. Theologically they made sense to Seymour, though he could not abide Parham’s racism.
One day William Seymour received a letter from a small church in Los Angeles. One of its members had heard Seymour preach when she had visited relatives in Houston. The church invited him to be their pastor, and they had included a train ticket in the letter.
Seymour arrived and preached his Pentecostal message in the small house church until after a month of intense prayer and fasting, the Holy Spirit fell in power on the small group and several spoke in tongues in April 1906. The experience was like fire, in that word spread so quickly that the crowds who came broke the porch on the little house, and the group had to look for another building. They found and rented a former church—then used as a warehouse—at 312 Azusa Street. Meetings were held daily and late into each night for the next three years, often six hundred people at a time crowded into the little church with five or six hundred more outside listening through the windows.
Initially the secular press and the religious leaders who opposed this movement pointed to the more dramatic spiritual gifts—the healing, prophecy, and speaking in tongues—as characteristics either to mock or question. But those were not the qualities that William Seymour believed were the most important demonstrations of the Holy Spirit’s baptism and not the ones he emphasized in his teaching. “Tongues are one of the signs that go with every baptized person, but it is not the real evidence of the baptism in the everyday life,” he wrote.
Seymour believed that the real miracle on the Day of Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2 was the Holy Spirit’s outpouring of so much godly love that three thousand people from “every nation under heaven” accepted the Gospel in one day. The unity Jesus prayed for in John 17 was dramatically realized between former enemies and strangers. The gift of tongues was merely a means of communicating that love. And so for Seymour, love that could unite blacks and whites, people from India and China and South America was what mattered. He said that if people weren’t expressing this First-Corinthians-thirteen kind of love, then “I care not how many tongues you may have, you have not the baptism with the Holy Spirit.” As far as Seymour was concerned, the blood of Jesus washed away the color line in Christ’s church.
Black people—many only a generation removed from slavery and terrified by the thousands of lynchings still occurring to their race—embraced white brothers and sisters in the Lord at Azusa. Sophisticated white people humbled themselves and asked black people to “actually” lay hands on them and pray for them. This mixing among the races mesmerized and alarmed the world. But the new “Pentecostals,” as they were by then called, rose up from their knees praising God, healed of their fear and hatred, and volunteered to go to other cities or foreign countries as missionaries. Many were confident that the tongues the Holy Spirit enabled them to speak equipped them to communicate with non-English-speaking people. Indeed, while these Pentecostals most often spoke in a heavenly prayer and praise language, dozens of reports confirmed that sometimes messages in recognized foreign languages came from people who previously knew only English.
Within two years, the movement took root in over fifty nations around the world. Seymour’s newspaper, The Apostolic Faith, reached a circulation of fifty thousand. Unquestionably, something real was happening.
But jealousy and strife also took root.
Not all white people liked the idea of a humble black man with such a significant ministry. In late October 1906, evangelist Charles F. Parham, the Texan who had allowed Seymour to sit outside of his classroom of white students, came to Los Angeles. Seymour received him respectfully, but it was soon apparent that Parham intended to take over the Azusa Street Mission. In his first message, he declared, “God is sick to his stomach” at the racial mixing that was going on at Azusa. Later his wife explained, “In Texas, you know, the colored people are not allowed to mix with the white people.” Parham was a full-fledged racist and an open supporter of the Ku Klux Klan. In time, he succeeded in drawing away almost three hundred whites from Azusa to start a rival group, but his ministry ended in disgrace because of his arrest in connection with a sex scandal.
William H. Durham, an influential Holiness leader from Chicago, moved to Los Angeles and at first seemed to join Seymour, but before long he publicly challenged some of Seymour’s doctrinal beliefs and ultimately split off about six hundred of Seymour’s followers—mostly white.
By the end of 1906 there were nine Pentecostal assemblies in Los Angeles. This would have been great, but some were not on good terms with each other, and in the end Seymour’s dedication to racial unity suffered as the groups, both there and elsewhere, became increasingly segregated and placed more and more emphasis on speaking in tongues and other “signs” rather than unity as proof of the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
On May 13, 1908, Seymour married Jennie Evans Moore, a dedicated member of his church. Clara Lum, mission secretary for the Azusa Street Mission, left Los Angeles and moved to Portland, Oregon—possibly out of jealousy, since she opposed the marriage—where she joined with minister Florence Crawford. However, without permission she took with her the national and foreign mailing lists for Seymour’s newspaper. She then commenced publishing the paper from Portland as though it were still Seymour doing the writing and editing. Only later did she admit in print that she had taken over as editor. The Seymours went to Portland and tried, without success, to get Clara Lum to return the mailing lists. With only the Los Angeles area addresses, the influence of Seymour’s paper quickly declined.
Nevertheless, the Pentecostal movement continued to expand until by 1914 it was represented in every American city of three thousand or more people and in every area of the world from Iceland to Tasmania, publishing literature in thirty languages.
Several major denominations grew out of the Azusa Street Revival. One example involves Bishop Charles H. Mason who attended in 1907. He experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and returned to his home in Jackson, Mississippi, to reorganize the Church of God in Christ. His ministry included a concern for all people, black and white. However, in 1914, because of heightened racial tension, a white segment split away from the main body and formed the Assemblies of God denomination. As years passed and the various Pentecostal denominations grew, William Seymour and his commitment to unity among Christians of every race was largely overlooked. The work at 312 Azusa Street continued in relative obscurity until William Seymour died of heart failure September 22, 1922. His wife carried on the declining ministry, but after her death in 1936, even the building was lost in 1938 because of unpaid taxes.
However, in 1994 and again in 1997 leaders of the Assemblies of God, the Church of God in Christ, the Church of God of Prophecy, and various independent Pentecostal and Charismatic groups met to pursue reconciliation and eliminate racism in their congregations. These efforts have involved formal expressions of repentance and apologies from white leaders and a celebration in which whites and blacks washed one another’s feet.
Christian scholars and church historians are finally starting to realize the importance of Bishop William J. Seymour and his vision for Christian unity. As early as 1972, Sidney Ahlstrom, the noted church historian from Yale University, said, “Seymour exerted greater influence upon American Christianity than any other black leader.”
